Room Mate Oscar

Overall, the experience was great right from the start... The greeting was really friendly when we checked in. Checking in was quick but not rushed, and the staff made us feel wonderfully welcome. There were some lovely free snacks upon arrival, although only on the first day (we stayed for five nights). The style of the room was modern. The bed was really large, which was perfect. There was also a sofa. There was a good view. The blackout curtain was effective. The staff said hola whenever we came in and out, which was pleasant. I would stay at this hotel if I visit Madrid again, and I will look out for other hotels in the Room Mate chain in future.

You want to visit Madrid and need somewhere to stay...where do you start. Room Mate Oscar is ideal. - roof top pool to cool off in the afternoon when you've had enough sightseeing - very helpful staff team...nothing is too much trouble - breakfast included which is served until 12 noon every day...no need to get up early (normal €15 each) - we upgraded our room, great shower, safe, large screen TV, fridge, great air conditioning, comfortable beds - fabulous location, one street away from Gran Via - the hotel can even sell you the hop on, hop off bus ticket which is worth it if it's your first time in Madrid - there is a Starbucks under neath the hotel and a 24 hour shop opposite - we got a free taxi journey thrown in from the airport however it is €30 set fee or you can get the train or bus Lots of hotels in Madrid to choose from however we really enjoyed staying at Room Mate Oscar, it was perfect

the location of the hotel is excellent if you like having close access to great restaurants, bars, museums and many other worthy attractions. The hotel is great and centrally located. However, for sleeping purposes this hotel was quiet. The beds are very comfortable and the room, though not gigantic, is large enough for a very long weekend.

The manager welcomed us with some complimentary prosecco on the rooftop bar, which was such a great way to start our trip in Madrid! We had a triple room and it was very large. The hotel interior is gorgeous and beds are really comfortable. The rooftop bar is one of the most popular rooftop bars in Madrid and guests get 15% off drinks. The breakfast was fabulous. Great coffee and selection of delicious food. The location is excellent. We didn't get a cab or metro once. You're in walking distance of everything. Hotel seems to be in a lively area but we didn't heat anything at night.

Located in Chueca, this design-forward hotel is a wonderful base to explore Madrid. It is within comfortable walking distance to the major Madrid attractions and the local area is full of great restaurants and bars. Most importantly the staff at the hotel were exceptional and their proactive suggestions made our stay even better. We definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Madrid.
